Job Description

Role Overview

The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Global Benefits department; provides administrative and clerical support, act as the day-to-day resource for employee inquiries, including health and welfare and retirement programs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Vendor Relations: Processes vendor invoices for payment, provides employment information to vendors to facilitate benefit coverage as well as commencement of retirement benefits. Responsible for first level escalation
  2. Tracks and manages all new hire enrollments and life events. Ensures they are completed within the required time frames. Updates and maintains benefit materials and Sharepoint site.
  3. Acts as a resource for employee questions and issues regarding the various benefit programs. Is responsible for monitoring and responding to employee and vendor inquiries from the benefit email box.
  4. Oversee and administer the FMLA/Leave process by: communicating with employees; interfacing with the third party disability vendor and Payroll; keeping people leaders abreast of the status of their team’s leaves
  5. Interface with Payroll department to: ensure proper payment of company matches; audit accuracy of 401k loan and deferral changes; confirm pay details for employees on leave of absence.
  6. Assists with regulatory requirements such as annual ACA reporting and filing, SPD distribution, CMS disclosure and others
  7. Global census/data gathering during renewals

Education and Certification Requirements

4-year bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or human resources
