We are part of the U.S Department of Health and Human Services, serving nearly two million American Indians and Alaska Natives through a network of 45 state-of-the-art hospitals and more than 293 clinics throughout 35 states.job description: The Behavioral Health Director is responsible for the executive oversight of the Behavioral Health Clinic ensuring that all behavioral health services are implemented, culturally integrated, and readily accessible. This position will serve as a member of the Leadership team and will collaborate with the Health General Manager for fiscal planning, performance measurements, quality improvement, policy, and growth. The Behavioral Health Director will lead the Youth & Family Guidance Center (YFGC) Supervisory staff in the development of services, ensuring that they are delivered in accordance with tribal, state, federal guidelines and licensure requirements. This position will work closely with County, State, and Tribal agencies for consultation and collaboration purposes. Qualifications: REQUIRED to have a Master's Degree in a behavioral health field with completion of educational requirements from a professionally approved and accredited educational program with appropriate licensure and/or certification. (Must submit copy of degree or transcripts with application), or 5 or more years' experience in behavioral health care administration. REQUIRED to possess a license as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Psychologist. Out of state professionals must be able to acquire an Oregon License within 6 months of hire. (Must submit copy of licensure with application). • REQUIRED to have a minimum of five (5) years of clinical supervisory experience. REQUIRED to have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership role, developing behavioral health programs and facilitating organizational growth.
