The Courtyard Marriott is located in the heart of Montreal, near the Palais des congrès, a few minutes from the most famous underground city in the world, Place des Arts, shops and boutiques on the effervescent rue Ste-Catherine and the Old -Montreal. The hotel offers 212 spacious rooms, conference rooms, indoor swimming pool and hot tub, exercise room as well as a restaurant, lounge bar and Coffee counter. Reporting to the restaurant manager and his assistant, the bartender is a mixologist who is always on the lookout for the latest beverage trends. The bartender greets guests in a distinctive way. You offer the drinks menu, offering recommendations or simply answering questions from guests. You have a warm and personalized conversation. Main tasks Greet customers and provide prompt service. Serve customers at tables. Take customer orders by making recommendations and answering their questions. Share your menu knowledge to answer questions and special customer requests. Open and serve wine and champagne. Prepare the garnishes. Stock up on ice, glasses and paper products. Set up the bar and keep it clean. Enter transactions into the system (POS) error-free and in a timely manner. Clear tables, perform fence duties and replace cutlery and other supplies. Collaborate in the cleanliness, maintenance and maintain of the professional image of the hotel. Be vigilant and attentive to customer requests on food allergies and intolerances and ensure that the information is specified in the kitchen. Follow hotel procedures, standards.
