WHAT YOU WILL DO

The overall purpose of this position is to provide Hyundai vehicle technical support to the Company’s Dealer Network so that problems are documented and issues resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Respond to dealership requests for technical assistance via phone or electronically
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Research questions using available information resources
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
  • Log all help desk interactions
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
  • Stay current with vehicle systems information, changes and updates
  • Document and escalate emerging quality issues from the field

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Excellent Automotive Technical skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic methods and equipment
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of automotive electrical systems, including in-depth experience with vehicle networks (CAN, LIN bus) as well as experience with BEV systems
  • Experience with teaching/coaching technical aptitudes
  • Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions.
  • Completion of a secondary school diploma and college, e.g., diploma / certificate / trade license or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Hiring Range: $72,500 - $100,000

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
