We welcome you to join our dynamic and innovative team.Position SummaryTheService Technicianis a professional and technically skilled individual responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles. This role requires an extensive range of knowledge and skills necessary to repair vehicle systems. Service Technician works closely with the Service Consultants to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in the Service Department.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, interpret and complete a variety of documentsConduct vehicle inspections and tests to determine diagnosisReport any additional safety or service repairs needed to the relevant partiesPerform vehicle repairs and service according to dealership and GM factory standardsComplete road tests to evaluate the quality of repairsComply with all safety regulations and policies to maintain a safe workingAdditional duties and responsibilities may be assigned or modified as necessary throughout the course of your employment.Technical Skills & RequirementsValid Red Seal certification or 4th Year ApprenticeMinimum 1-2 years of service technician experienceDiesel engine repair experience is an assetPhysically capable of properly lifting up to 25 kg (55 lb)Valid BC driver’s license required and comfortable operating manual transmission vehiclesCommitment to continuous learning to update industry knowledgeWhy Dueck Auto GroupTop pay in the industryState of the art facilityExtended health and dental benefitsBusy shop with guaranteed hoursOngoing training and professional developmentFlexible schedule for the right candidateBoot allowanceReferral programLogistical RequirementsThis is a full-time position available at ourDueck Downtownlocation.
