Company: Albion Auto Services Business information: Albion Auto Services is a family-owned business dedicated to providing maintenance services to cars such as repairs, oil changes, tire changes, etc.Business Address: 231 Cannon Street E., Hamilton ON, L8L 2B2Work Location: Same as aboveType of Employment: Full Time– PermanentEstimated Start Date: As soon as possibleJob Description:Assist to inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and componentsAssist to adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systemsAssist to test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specificationsAssist to perform scheduled maintenance serviceAssist to inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctionsDiagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unitAssist to repair or replace mechanical units or componentsTest and adjust units to specificationsComplete reports to record problems and work performedEstimate parts and labour costsProvide customer serviceRequirements: Education:Completion of high school is required.Experience:A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field is required. In the event that the candidate does not have 2 years of experience in the field, a post-secondary certificate related to the field is required.Driver's License:G Type Driver´s license is required for vehicle testing and diagnosing.Work conditions and physical capabilities:Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Overtime requiredPersonal Suitability:Initiative, Accurate, Judgement, Effective interpersonal skills, Team player, Organized, Excellent written communicationLanguage:English is required.Salary: $26.00 per hour, 30 hours per weekBenefits: Life insurance is provided.
