Perks!Competitive salaryPaid day off on your birthdayExcellent benefit package with premiums paid by the companyRRSP MatchTool and boot allowance + safety wearSafety-minded organizationStable, year-round employment with overtime availableContinuous training, learning and development opportunitiesFun-loving work environment with strong social responsibilityWhat You’ll Be DoingDuties and Responsibilities:Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor.Inspect motor in operation, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults.Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive/generator systems including fuel system, engine, drive train, emission control and exhaust, electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment.Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications.Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune ups.Advise customers on work performed, general generator condition and future repair requirements.What You’ll Bring to the TeamQualifications and Requirements:Must be Journeyperson certified.Class 5 license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points) is required. Class 3 license is considered an asset.Experience with generator service and repair is an asset.Available to work overtime when required.Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Pride in what you do!Want to learn more about this as well as other opportunities at Cooper?
