Our Kingsville Headquarters is currently seeking a AutoCAD Layout Designer to join our Greenhouse Operations team! The essential function of this role is to prepare and develop 3D models and layout general arrangements for projects as well as prepare process flow diagrams in co-ordination with the current projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Preparation and development of 3D models and layout for projects
- Prepare process flow diagrams in co-ordination with the current projects
- Prepare, design and develop sketches
- Prepare Layout design criteria
- Prepare sketches
- Review of Vendor documentation
- Assist and review Layout deliverables for design in co-ordination with Project leads
- Participate in 3D Model Reviews and Design Reviews
- Understanding of mechanical and material handling equipment
- Input Proposals and deliverable estimates
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure a timely and accurate flow of design information, while ensuring departmental and project standards are maintained
- Provide input to departmental support tasks such as the maintenance, revision of projects and SOP’s
Skills and Qualifications:
- College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Experience in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and other relevant programs considered an asset
- Ability to read, understand, and produce Layout drawings
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage time appropriately
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Dedicated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently when required
- Experience working on large scale projects (Retro-fits, upgrades, builds)
Travel:
- Job will involve travel and potential extended stays on projects depending on the scope and size of the project
- Travel required to multiple locations across Canada/US and some International travel will also be required
