Job Description

Baker Tilly CK, LLP - Audit Manager

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working with small to medium-sized companies in various industries on engagements such as notice to reader, review, and audit.
  • Preparing corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Assisting in planning, executing, and completing Audit, Review, and Compilation engagements.
  • Analyzing financial information, accounting processes, and proposing adjusting entries.
  • Supervising junior staff, updating Partners on engagement status, and managing progress.
  • Providing attentive service to clients to foster productive relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of post-qualification public accounting experience.
  • Assurance experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Canadian GAAP, audit, review procedures, and tax compliance.
  • Strong bookkeeping foundation and ability to work on multiple engagements concurrently.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and independent decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and quick adaptability to new programs.
  • Team-oriented with a client-focused service approach.
