POSITION DESCRIPTION: Jazz Drummondville is a recent residence of 405 apartments located in a sought-after area of Drummondville, which offers a high-quality, safe and deeply human living environment to its residents and employees.

We are currently looking for a Beneficiary Attendant trained under Law 90, empathetic and concerned about the well-being of residents.

The resident attendant sees to the comfort, well-being, safety and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care.

Permanent full-time position, in the form of 07/15, between 24 and 32 hours per week, evenings or nights and every other weekend.

HIRING BONUS OF $500 (spread over 6 months, $250 after 3 months and $250 after 6 months)

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics

Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around

Assist the nursing staff in tasks that require no hands-on care of the resident

Contribute to the adjustment of a residents action plan based on their observations

In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .

Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents

Respond to all emergency situations

Transporting residents to programs, dining room and appointments within the Residence

While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset

Law 90 training

PDSB training

Up to date CPR / AED training certificates

PAB diploma completed
