We are on the lookout for an ambitious forward-looking associate lawyer, with a minimum of two years’ experience in various areas of law, including real estate, civil litigation, family law, immigration, and corporate/commercial law. Requirements for the position: Law degree and a license to practice law in the province of Alberta; A member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta; Minimum of 2 years of work experience (post-bar call); Minimum of 2 years of experience handling real estate files in Alberta from beginning to end; Between one and three years of experience in civil litigation, immigration, and family law; A good experience in corporate/commercial law will be considered a valuable asset; Experience in criminal law is an asset Superior time-management skills, multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision; Detail-oriented with an ability to plan effectively; Very good working knowledge of MS Office Suite; Having an existing client base is considered an asset.
