Summary of the role:
We are seeking an Investor Relations Associate in Montreal to work within the Office of the CEO on all investor relations and fundraising efforts at Diagram. This position is a great opportunity to engage with all teams within Diagram, allowing you to deepen your experience in the startup and venture capital sectors while contributing significantly to the growth and impact of our platform.
Your responsibilities will includes:
- Leading various initiatives endorsed by the CEO to enhance Diagram’s growth.
- Collaborating with the legal, finance, and investment teams to prepare and organize key documents, including fundraising materials, due diligence responses, investor reporting, and related documents.
- Supporting the leadership team in managing the fundraising process for future Diagram funds
- Leading and enhancing Diagram’s branding and marketing initiatives
- Serving as the main contact for investor inquiries and managing relationships with all stakeholders.
- Organizing events for Limited Partners, including the Annual General Meeting.
- Maintain CRM and distribution lists for reporting, communications and events;
- Enhancing and refining Diagram’s internal operations, methodologies, and best practices.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Marketing, Consulting, or similar fields. Familiarity with the venture capital or private equity sector is beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Demonstrated financial and business intuition, with the ability to summarize complex financial and operational information and present it in a simplified manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability of building strong relationships
- You are organized, curious, positive, hands-on, and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace challenges outside your comfort zone
- You are adept at navigating ambiguity and solving problems independently.
- The role is based in Montreal.
