General Duties:

Work closely with the Program Manager and Program Team to plan and execute programs to deliver on time and on budget for our customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Planning, scheduling, and managing tasks including resource loading and work breakdown structure for existing projects.

• Setup and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.

• Track and report technical, schedule, and financial project performance.

• Ensuring success of projects through the timely coordination of planning and purchasing areas of the program.

• Assist in monitoring and reporting status of projects and progress against major milestones and assist with preventative/corrective action to ensure timely delivery.

• Coordinate and attend project review meetings.

• Liaises with team members to ensure clear understanding of project scope, requirements, and budget.

• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

• Managing and maintaining project management archived data and reports.

• Preparing dashboards and summaries of project data, metrics, and status to support stakeholder communication.

• Assist the Program Manager with preparing budgets, forecasts, managing scope, risk, and contract changes.

• Effectively collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional development teams to ensure project success.

• Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

• Four (4) + years managing complex schedules

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

• Team-management and leadership skills

• Documentation management and ability to use project management tools

• Attention to details even under pressure.

• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to stay highly organized and balance multiple tasks.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.

• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.

Education:

Bachelor of mechanical / aerospace, Degree in Business or related project management experience (preferred)
