About our team: We are starting a new team composed of a mixture of experienced EA/EA SPORTS employees and new talent from across industries. With some of the most valuable IP in the world, and the resources EA has to offer, we have access to the capabilities needed to deliver amazing new experiences for an expanded audience of players worldwide.

As a Producer on the team, you will partner with team leaders to help plan and guide the delivery of game experiences. You’ll be involved in development, from the early concept stages through production and final stages.

Producers are the bridge between the design team and project managers. They oversee what experiences we build, why we build them, and how we deliver them to our players.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Line Producer and Lead Producer to understand product goals then ideate and translate them into game features that players will love.
  • Oversee game features through development, and be responsible for feature quality and ensuring the initial goals and vision are upheld
  • Work with partners to vet features and prioritize the backlog to ensure work is aligned with product strategy
  • You will be actively involved in mitigating risk to successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Work with team developers and QA to ensure quality is managed at the highest standards
  • Identify dependencies and promote the delivery of the requirements across several teams
  • You will report to the Lead producer

Qualifications:

  • An experienced producer or product manager with 3+ years of experience in a game production, entertainment, or technology-focused role is preferred.
  • Has experience developing online-enabled features and understands matchmaking and social systems.
  • Can work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Is well-versed with waterfall and agile development processes.
  • Has experience developing a staged feature plan, including the creation of user stories and deliverables.
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal. Can simplify complex topics and make them easy to understand
  • Thrives in a team environment and is open to different perspectives.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be passionate about their work
  • Can act as a mediator and resolver of conflicts
  • Experience in UX and/or Game Design is a bonus, not a requirement
  • A passion for Football, EA SPORTS FC and/or Sports Gaming in general is a bonus, not a requirement

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
o $73,200 - $101,700 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
