They will drive creativity and innovation through the delivery of UNIQLO’s in store visual merchandising. They will support with executing Visual Presentations within the store; including but not limited to, Styling, Props, and Displays. These actions are expected to be engaging, generate excitement, inspire, and attract customers, increase Sales while simultaneously communicating UNIQLO LIFEWEAR.Solid understanding of UNIQLO, manages all basic operations and stores visuals in accordance with UNIQLO Rules, Policies, and Code of Conduct.Job DescriptionProvide regular, ongoing visual merchandising direction for all UNIQLO retail spaces in alignment with our corporate brand imageSet visual merchandising strategy to achieve corporate objectivesEstablish best practices related to assortment display and placement, provide ongoing direction related to implementation of merchandiseActively solicit feedback from Store Management and Store Operations teams providing direction to foster continuous improvementTake part in planning of country wide window/in-store calendar based on company strategyConduct daily walk-through and provide creative inputs as it pertains to floor presentation, window display and product stylingPartner with and effectively influence the visual merchandising teams on seasonal range development based on an optimal store layout across each formatCreate innovative interior product presentation concepts that drive positive KPI growthCollaborate with marketing team to define all in-store communicationManage headquarter graphic designer’s timelines, directives, production process, outside vendors and aligning all designs based on GHQManage all weekly, monthly styling working with layout team and utilizing GHQ concepts based on monthly layoutManage and create concepts for all window styling based on GHQ directionControl department budgetary expensesTrain and develop team membersAdditional duties as assignedDesired Skills and ExperiencesMinimum of 2+ years of leadership experience in visual merchandising with fashion forward apparel retailerExceptional leadership ability with keen eye for design and styling and demonstrated success in visual merchandising, innovation and implementationStrong ability to communicate ideas and lead teams from conception to implementationAbility to travel to various UNIQLO locations within CanadaStrong ability to influence, inspire and motivate teamsInnate talent for identifying and understanding current fashion/retail trendsAbility to think creatively and to understand scale and compositions in visual techniquesAbility to collaborate cross functionally to achieve brand visions in storesAbility to work well in a team environment and contribute ideasAbility to adapt to a challenging and fast paced environmentFlexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesUNIQLO Canada is an equal opportunity employer.
