This opportunity is starting out as a temporary assignment of 4-8 weeks with the enticing prospect of transitioning into a permanent position for the right candidate.If you are adept at micro-assembly of small parts, have a keen eye for detail and have experience in soldering, then apply today!Duties and Responsibilities:The key job functions are:Assembling a variety of parts (mostly micro-assembly)Soldering as requiredCarefully measuring materialsCuring of adhesivesTroubleshooting where neededKeeping track of inventoryEnsuring all projects are carried through safely and accuratelyQualifications:Able to pass a RCMP criminal record checkAbility to stand or walk for extended periods of timeExperience:A minimum of 2+ years’ of micro-assembly/manufacturing experience is requiredPrevious soldering experience requiredSkills:Patient and meticulousStrong attention to detailTroubleshootingStrong desire to learnEnthusiasticWork well as part of a teamBase Salary:$18 – $19 per hourBased on experienceWork Hours:Monday – Friday8AM – 5PMAdditional Notes:This opportunity does not include relocation.
