Job Description

Our client, a renowned global brand and leader in the food service industry, is currently seeking Area Real Estate Managers to join their team in GTA. Responsible for sourcing and negotiating deals for new store locations within an assigned territory, this role aligns with the regional growth plan. It presents a great opportunity for dynamic, self-motivated candidates to make an impact within a global organization undergoing transformative change. Offering a competitive base salary (115-120k target range), 14% bonus, flexible/hybrid work structure, full benefits, deferred profit sharing, car allowance, wellness reimbursement, and 3 weeks vacation , this position requires the successful candidate to continuously improve the existing real estate portfolio. The primary objective is to secure quality locations that maximize income and return on investment while contributing to the Development Plan by producing new, freestanding locations and leading deals through internal approvals, contractual negotiations, ground breaks, and openings. Key Responsibilities: Maintain strong market knowledge and understanding of the assigned region, and contribute to knowledgeable real estate decisions Identify and acquire real estate for freestanding locations, including negotiating terms and conditions of real estate agreements (up to the executed L.O.I. or Offer to Lease) and if required, restaurants in the assigned geographical area Assist with the presentation of site packages to management for approval Coordinate the presentation of development opportunities to Owner Operators Partner with the Area Construction Manager to prioritize development opportunities to ensure the best use of capital (e.g., timing, funding and returns) within the region. Ensure the best location/best value for all real estate acquisitions Key Qualifications: 5-7 years of Commercial Real Estate experience with demonstrated experience in site selection and unit acquisition, combined with effective negotiation skills Experience in the Quick-Service-Restaurant (QSR) industry is considered an asset Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with management, staff, and external partners Critical thinker and ability to escalate when assistance is needed in a timely manner Strong organization and multi-tasking skills with the ability to make critical decisions to drive project success Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Thank you for your interest in this role!
