Job Title: Angular Developer
Location: PEI Canada (Remote or Onsite)The scope of the services may include, but are not limited to: - Oracle Sales and Service PAAS
- Providing support and knowledge of angular development as aligned to Government’s eCRM composable solutions, leveraging prebuilt components and continuing to add to them;
- Modifying existing Angular code or creating new code in accordance with approved design specifications, best coding practices, and technical guidelines to ensure high quality and performance of the resulting module(s);
- Working with various stakeholders to develop and document the technical design for applications;
- Building software releases from multiple development project streams and managing multiple tier deployment environments;
- Performing full application upgrades and patches within a full stack environment;
- Providing effort estimates/timelines for complex new development projects and application upgrades;
- Writing APIs and Web Services with clear, consistent, and simple to use interfaces;
- Developing code for multiple tier deployment environments (Dev, QA, Staging, and Production);
- Delivering quality software as part of a composable solution for eCRM leveraging Angular, Mulesoft, Microsoft Graph, Azure Functions, and Oracle Fusion Cloud while following an Agile-Iterative delivery methodology;
- Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis to solve problems in an integrated environment;
- Following a continuous delivery pipeline with GIT source control management and MS Azure Devops Pipeline;
- Participating in the implementation and integration with Government Standard Enterprise Integration Platform; and
- Performing other duties as assigned by Government.
A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Angular Developer in a complex environment (front end, middle and back end). This experience must include: - Writing code that was well designed, tested, and put into a production environment;
- Developing or supporting web applications;
- Understand and have written Angular web application using Reactive programming model;
- Experience with some existing and emerging software development tools, frameworks, and languages;
- Experience with web technologies, protocols and tools;
- Experience in Open source frameworks to create microservices;
- Delivering on complex system development projects from design through to release;
- Evaluating risks and predicting potential problems;
- Understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level;
- Working closely with other team members to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery;
A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in delivering solutions using: - Angular;
- HtML, JSON;
- CSS, SASS; and
- Microsoft Graph or Sharepoint.
The following skills, abilities, and experience: - Strong critical reasoning skills;
- Experience working with MS Azure DevOps and managing its boards; and
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Government considers the following experience as an asset: - Experience working with government organizations;
- Experience working in an Agile environment;
- Experience with automation servers, CI using software such as MS Azure Devops Pipeline and Git; and
- Experience working with Mulesoft.
