Principales responsabilités

  • Analyser les données, les rapports et les tableaux de bord pour formuler des conclusions et identifier des recommandations qui répondent directement aux problèmes commerciaux

  • Travailler avec les intervenants pour comprendre les problèmes et les objectifs d’affaires qui peuvent être résolus ou éclairés par l’utilisation de données

  • Acquérir une solide compréhension des données et des affaires de McKesson et tirer parti des connaissances du domaine pour identifier les solutions d’intelligence d’affaires appropriées

  • Naviguer et utiliser les rapports existants ou les outils libre-service pour générer des rapports, extraire des données et filtrer des données pour soutenir l’analyse

  • Cerner et développer des méthodes appropriées pour analyser les données et présenter des idées

  • Identifier et accéder aux données, rapports et tableaux de bord requis pour effectuer l’analyse

Qualifications et compétences pour le poste

  • Baccalauréat en statistiques, en mathématiques ou en analyse d’affaires

  • Au moins cinq ans d’expérience en gestion et analyse de données

  • Capacité de présenter des informations complexes de façon simplifiée à divers publics

  • Capacité de travailler de façon autonome et au sein d’équipes multidisciplinaires

  • Solide expérience dans la manipulation de rapports et la consommation de données, en utilisant des outils comme Excel, PowerBI ou d’autres outils de visualisation de données

  • Expérience exceptionnelle en analyse d’affaires, en connaissances et en narration

Job Summary

The role of Business Intelligence Analyst, reports to the Manager, Analytics & Insights within the Retail Business Intelligence team. This role is responsible for the analysis of data and identification of actionable insights to drive decision making. The BI analyst will work with business stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, collect input on business cases, and prioritize requirements. The BI analyst will provide key stakeholders with regular and timely insights on the key trends impacting the business’ performance metrics and prepare documentation to present their findings. The BI analyst will consult with internal and external data sources, existing reports and dashboards or submit requests for the development of new reports.

Key Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze data, reports, and dashboards to form conclusions and identify recommendations that directly address business problems

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and objectives that can be solved or informed with the use of data

  • Build strong understanding of McKesson data and business, and leverage domain knowledge to identify appropriate business intelligence solutions

  • Navigate and use existing reports or self-service tools to generate reports, extract data, and filter data to support analysis

  • Identify and develop appropriate methods to analyze data and present insights

  • Identify and access required data, reports, and dashboards to complete analysis

  • Review, update, and contribute to documentation (e.g., business glossaries, data dictionaries)

  • Aggregate information from multiple sources or reports to form conclusions

  • Communicate insights from analysis and data using visualizations, narratives, and calls to action

Position Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics or business analytics

  • 5+ years of experience working in data management & analysis

  • Ability to present complex information in a simplified way to various audiences

  • Ability to work independently and able to work on teams cross functionally

  • Strong experience in report manipulation and data consumption, using tools such as Excel, PowerBI or other data visualization tools

  • Exceptional background in Business Analysis, Insights & Storytelling

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information

  • Business Case Development

  • Project Management

  • Strong communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Bilingual (French/English)

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$68,000 - $113,400
