In your role as Analyst, Indirect sourcing you will responsible to provide analytical and project management support to sourcing leadership and assisting with category management activities. Check out northwest.ca for more information.Your Role:Implement vendor management and compliance programs including SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and pricing for products for products and services.Execute category management / sourcing analyticsAnalyze market trends, assess supplier performance, and evaluate the impact of external factors on the procurement of productsWork with suppliers and cross functional teams during testing of the products or servicesCompile scope of work and requirements, analyze and evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate final commercial termsComply with NWC purchasing guidelinesProvide project support and communication to category leaders (project tracking, meeting minutes, etc.)Develop and confidently present analysis – both quantitative and qualitative – to Procurement and Business leadership to obtain approval to award businessDesired Skills & Experience:Bachelors degree required (major related to Management, Business, Economics, Supply-Chain, Finance, Accounting).1+ years of professional experience related to Sourcing & Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Analytics, or Management Consulting.Strong analytical ability, strategic thinker, learn and process new information quicklyAbility to quickly capture, analyze, and summarize large data setsStrong organization and project management skillsDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks without direct supervision, while paying strong attention to detail and follow-upIntellectually curious, eager to gain new experiences, qualifications, and responsibilitiesExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to confidently and expertly interact with internal and external stakeholdersMust be willing and able to travel up to 15% of time for supplier presentations, site visits, and key department meetings at HeadquartersLocation: Gibraltar House, 77 Main Street, Winnipeg, MBReports to: Director, Indirect SourcingWe create a collaborative and constructive culture by:
