A Day in the Life

We are looking for a driven and results-focused Analyst to join our new eCommerce advertising initiative. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with major brands and digital marketers to leverage AppLovin’s marketing platform to grow their business in a measurable way. You will also have a chance to work directly with AppLovin’s leadership - including VPs and Directors across teams, and to learn from many thought leaders in the industry, including our founders.
Note: We are asking that you be present in the office in Toronto 4 days a week.

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Be a key member in the growth and success of AppLovin’s eCommerce business
  • Manage partner relationships and develop successful relationships
  • Consult with digital marketers to utilize AppLovin’s platform and drive business growth and enhance campaign performance
  • Monitor and analyze campaign activity to generate recommendations that will grow share of wallet
  • Become an expert in mobile advertising and our suite of products while representing AppLovin at industry events to grow your industry knowledge

Who You Are

  • 1-3+ years of experience in consulting, growth strategy, sales, finance, product strategy, investment banking or related analytical roles
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort working with numbers, as well as a strategic understanding of the “big picture” and the ability to derive actionable insights
  • Flexible team-player who can use drive, creativity, and initiative to move the organization forward
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively summarize complex data and technical information for non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven interest in technology. Whether you’re an early adopter of gadgets, or an Excel whiz, or took a computer science class in school and loved it, we are a high tech and big data company where you will constantly have the opportunity to contribute business and product ideas

Additional Strengths

  • Previous experience in a high growth tech start-up environment
  • Expertise with eCommerce platforms and tools, such as Shopify and Google Analytics
  • Experience in digital marketing and an understanding of web and mobile advertising ecosystems
  • A basic understanding of programming or scripting
  • Understanding of models for intelligent decision making, such as game theory, chess, or poker
