Job Description

The Avon Maitland District School Board invites applications for the

following Permanent Contract:

Vacant Position: 1.0 FTE Education and Community Partnership Program (ECPP) Classroom Teacher

The Education Care and Partnership Program classroom is a joint partnership between the Avon Maitland District School Board and Stratford Children’s Services. An Education Community Partnership Program (ECPP) is only for students who cannot attend their regular school because of their primary need for care, treatment and/or rehabilitation services. This program provides an educational setting for students whose identified treatment needs would not allow them to progress in a regular classroom. The classroom provides a safe and supportive learning environment with an intensive focus for students to develop self-regulation skills. Literacy and numeracy will be an academic focus. The goal of the ECPP program is to work collaboratively with Stratford Children's Services to provide students with a foundation or personal toolbox of self-regulation skills and strategies to empower them to experience increased academic wellbeing in their home school environment.

Effective September 1, 2024, the ECPP Teacher will be assigned to Romeo Public School for the 2024-2025 school year.
