Job Description
Must Have Experience/knowledge In
Developing and modifying structural and component designs, using CATIA V5 and/or other
design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups.
Performing/integrating analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and
components to meet requirements and specifications.
Structural design, mechanical design, and material properties.
Aerospace Industry standards, aircraft requirements, design, and certification.
Aerospace material selection, engineering drawings (2D or MBD creation), applying GD&T,
processes (finishing, heat treatment, etc.), tolerance stack-up analysis.
Consider reliability & safety aspects for design solutions.
Design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM and DFA) and optimize the design for cost
reduction.
New Product development, process redesign and in-service design investigations.
Cross-functional collaboration with stake holders during the product development phase.
