Role: AME M Licensed

Status: Permanent

Location: Abbotsford, BC

Our client, one of Canada’s leading specialist contractors within aerospace and defence, is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Mechanics (AME-M) to perform aircraft maintenance and repairs. We invite you to consider a career with a major player within their field of expertise!

Responsibilities:

  1. Comply with the customer’s audit kit, Transport Canada regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Process Standards (CPS), all maintenance, manufacturing and policy manuals, and the scope of their certification authority when performing repairs, modifications, and inspection tasks on aircraft
  2. Carry out repairs, modifications, and inspection tasks on customer aircraft
  3. Complete administrative paperwork, documentation, and reports
  4. Coach and direct junior technicians to ensure that tasks are performed efficiently and accurately and that the skills needed to progress in the trade are developed
  5. Perform other tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of AME experience
  • AME license or an AME certification authority in his or her field
  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCA or appropriate regulatory body)
  • Full TCA authorization
  • C130 experience is an asset

Schedule: M-F 40 hours/week rotation every 2 weeks: Days (7am – 3pm) & Afternoons (3pm - 11pm)

Environment: Unionized

Wage range: $75K - $90K
