Get to know us better: https://sogeclair.com/msb/What you will accomplish as a « Structural Designer » :Support the design process from initial concept through final production, ensuring the aircraft meets or exceeds all technical requirementsProvide technical solutions to production line for all structural and system installation issuesProvide technical direction to junior design engineers to accomplish day-to-day tasksEnsure effective management of assigned design activities by closely working with other engineering departments, internal and external customers, Methods, Quality and ProcurementClosely interface with Stress, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality and test groupsPrepare structural and systems layouts, interface drawings, installations, assembly and detail drawingsSupport design and program reviews with partners/suppliersStatus projects for functional managementRequired competencies and qualifications :You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited universityYou have a minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in airframe primary and secondary structures design including systems installationsYou have an understanding of airframe configuration, optimization, loads, stress analysis, materials, manufacturing processes, tooling concepts and structural in-service requirementsExperience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5), Dimensional Management, and ability to perform manufacturing tolerance stack upsExperience with CATIA V5 & Enovia is requiredYou have an understanding of civil aircraft certification rules and certification proceduresYou have strong leadership, communication and inter-personal skillsYou are able to work in a cross functional team environment and interact on a daily basis with other professionals and techniciansYou have a good working knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office, CATIA V5, Enovia, Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE), etc.*Personnel placement agency permit : AP-2000454*Temporary foreign worker recruitment agency permit : AR-2000453
