IBM Advisory Delivery Consultant - zHW Security in Markham, Ontario

Your Role and Responsibilities

NA Systems Lab Services IBM z/OS Mainframe Security Consultants help clients implement systems with the highest level of data security commercially available, advising on built-in enterprise security capabilities and how to simplify complex operational security processes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

1. At least 5 years' experience working with a z/OS operating system and products
2. At least 5 years' experience working with knowledge of IBM RACF security product
3. Basic knowledge of current security threats, what to look for and how to mitigate them
4. At least 5 years' experience in client facing communications, requirements analysis, documentation, creating presentations, presenting to client staff, and speaking at an executive level
5. Basic knowledge of various security regulations such as HIPPA, STIG, PCI, GDPR, etc.
6. Technical Knowledge of IBM Z Security Portfolio; including zSecure, Pervasive Encryption, Crypto Express hardware, and Central Processor Assist for Cryptographic Function (CPACF)
7. Familiar with z/OS SW & Z HW releases as it relates to advancing Z security solutions
8. Experience with compliance and audit generating secure reports to analyze and report on security events and detect security exposures
9. Readiness to travel 50-75% annually

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

1. 5+ years experience working with various security regulations such as HIPPA, STIG, PCI, GDPR, etc.
2. Deep technical knowledge of IBM Z Security Portfolio; including zSecure, RACF, Pervasive Encryption, Crypto Express hardware, and Central Processor Assist for Cryptographic Function (CPACF)
3. Familiar with z/OS SW & Z HW releases as it relates to advancing Z security solutions
4. Experience with compliance and audit generating secure reports to analyze and report on security events and detect security exposures
5. 2+ years experience with Pervasive Encryption, Crypto Express hardware, and Central Processor Assist for Cryptographic Function (CPACF)
6. 2+ years experience with TKE
7. 2+ years experience with IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager (prior knows as SKLM)
8. Experience deploying and/or administering security for IBM z/OS
