Success in this role means meeting sales targets while upholding Waypoint's standards and guidelines.RESPONSIBILITIES:· Engage with new and returning clients through consultative in-person or over the phone interactions, driven by a passion for understanding their needs and building trust.· Process renewals, endorsements, and cancellations for ICBC, optional in-house auto insurance demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.· Conduct thorough reviews of clients' current coverages, providing educated recommendations for Waypoint's relevant products and services.· Assess product terms and conditions, including coverages, limits, and exclusions, utilizing your expertise to deliver comprehensive protection.· Meet various sales, business-building, and retention targets, employing strong sales techniques while upholding the values of Waypoint.· Foster a collaborative environment by building positive rapport with colleagues and the public, recognizing the value of teamwork and mutual support.· Utilize our in-house CRM systems to maintain accurate client information and insurance policy details.· Process payments and diligently follow up on outstanding balances, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer care.· Uphold high processing standards for storage, retrieval, confidentiality and accuracy, ensuring the utmost protection of clients' information.· Continuously develop and sustain a strong working knowledge of ICBC products, guidelines, as well as private auto insurance manuals, best practices, standards, and systems.· Oversee the distribution of plates, permits, and debit/credit receipts, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and precise accounting.REQUIREMENTS:· Possess refined interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to connect with clients on a deep level and foster trust, driven by your passion for delivering exceptional experiences.· Demonstrate excellent written and communication skills, ensuring clear and concise interactions.· Exhibit strong computer skills and fluency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.· Previous sales experience is highly valued, highlighting your ability to meet goals and deadlines while delivering outstanding customer service with a resourceful approach.· Show motivation to surpass assigned targets and think critically to problem solve on the spot, fueled by your curiosity and desire to find innovative solutions.· IBABC Licensing is preferred, but not required.Waypoint is actively committed to supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
