Apply today to join a firm that is dedicated to you.Our Waterloo office is looking for an Administrative Assistant, Legal to join their team!Key Responsibilities:Initial review and organization of existing original, executed estate planning documents in on-site vault;Reorganize and update the existing record-keeping system;Process new executed estate planning documents, including:Review documents for proper execution;Scanning of original documents;Create and prepare affidavits of execution, estate planning reporting letters and records books;Enter information into record-keeping system and arranging for safekeeping of original documents in on-site vault;Respond to requests for records and information and retrieve original documents from on-site vault;Maintain an up-to-date record-keeping system;Other duties as assigned.What you'll bring:Community College Certificate or Diploma or equivalent combination of experience;2-3 years of working experience in a professional organization;Excellent organizational, time-management and coordination skills;Superior attention to detail and ability to work with and understand confidential information;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Ability to work well on their own with minimal direction or instructions;Strong investigative and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and escalate issues;Ability to lift up to 30lbs;Advanced technical skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); Able to learn new software systems with ease;Forward-thinking and innovative with ability to find ways to deliver customer service excellence;Able to manage multiple files and tasks, and strong ability to take initiative;Collegial and a team player;Experience in Wills & Estates is considered an asset but not required.What we offer:We believe in the importance of a Total Compensation package, ensuring our mix of salary, benefits, and perks are competitive within the market as well as a work-life balance.
