About the work environment: Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times. We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance. About you : You excel in efficient problem solving, investigating, and troubleshooting problems to their resolution. You are a leader who loves to manage and develop a team of administrators while also expanding their knowledge and expertise of the systems they use on a day-to-day basis. About the qualifications: Minimum 5 years of progressive administrative experience within a financial institution and/or credit card processing & settlement environment, e-transfers, EFTs, wires, and other payment methods. Previous experience in merchant acquiring administration is an asset. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. Completion of a qualified accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or CPA in progress (2nd year+) preferred. Advanced level of Excel. Strong overall administrative and data analysis skills.  About the day-to-day: Manage, motivate, and develop direct reports through ongoing performance development. Lead a team of administrators to monitor and troubleshoot the system for reconciliation and commissioning process. Investigate/identify reconciliation discrepancies, troubleshoot, correct, and sign off as required. Addressing any funding issues with acquiring partners. Review network settlements and submission of network reporting, including setting up settlement paperwork with the network. Prepare and review monthly commission distributions to program managers. Compensation: Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $80,000 and $100,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience that the chosen candidate possess.
