Job Description
Responsibilities
- · Regulatory Compliance: Assist with meeting all regulatory reporting needs.
- · Regular Reporting & Analysis: Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.
- · IBNR Determination: Calculate IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported) reserves each quarter.
- · Performance Analysis: Conduct and review analyses of gains and losses.
- · Financial Forecasting: Provide actuarial liability and investment income forecasts for budgeting.
- · Experience & Profitability Studies: Perform and review studies on past experience and profitability.
- · Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate findings, assumptions, and recommendations to relevant parties on time.
- · Tool Optimization: Become proficient with actuarial tools, suggest improvements, and implement approved changes.
- · Team Leadership: Grow leadership skills by reviewing peers' work, coaching teammates, and helping with team planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
- · 5+ years of proven experience
- · ACAS or near ACAS
- · Skills in some of them (SQL, SAS, VBA, Python & R)
