Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk - Collections for a 6-month contract role with strong potential to become permanent. With offices across the province, the successful candidate will have the option to work out of Lunenburg, Truro, or Halifax based offices.

As the ideal candidate, you have strong collections and reconciliation experience and thrive in a dynamic office setting.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:
  • Conduct collection calls
  • Negotiate with customers and arrange payment options
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Excel spreadsheet maintenance
  • Dashboard and database records management
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills & Attributes for Success:
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or similar educational experience
  • Previous experience in a collection-focused role
  • Confident and professional communication skills, wit the ability to remain calm and resilient in high-pressure environments
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
