You will ensure that all invoices are processed according to the company policies and maintaining good relationships with supplier and fellow employees.You Will…Maintain the vendor files and enter vendor information into the company software programProcess PO invoices and non PO invoices as per company policyGenerate checks and mail checksLiaise with the suppliers to answer questions and reconcile supplier statementsReconcile accounts payable as per company policies including updating spreadsheets for returns and updating the programmers time sheetsPrepare deposits, bank reconciliations, foreign exchange on sales, PST & GST filing, petty cash and 407Perform all office filing tasks including keeping an organized file in the accounting filing cabinets and forwarding faxes and mail to the appropriate employeesEstablish and maintain excellent relationships with all company departments and officesYou Have…·Post-secondary diploma and/or university degree specialized in accounting, CGA in process is an asset·3 to 5 years progressive experience in a similar role·Strong numerical aptitude·Previous exposure to computerized accounting programs on a multi-user systemCosting and inventory management experience is an assetWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products with intermediate experience in ExcelProven customer relations skillsExcellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentStrong multi-tasking and decision making skills are requiredCompetenciesOrganizational AwarenessCustomer Empathy & FocusPassion for Excellence and IntegrityTenacity and ResilienceIf youre not interested, but know someone who is; please help a current or former colleague in their career development by referring them.
