This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Kitchener, Ontario area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.Your responsibilities in this role- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling- Carry out additional projects as required- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time- Implement full-cycle A/P- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mailJob Requirements:- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred- Command of expense reports- Check Runs experience highly desired- Process Expense Reports experience- Accounts Payable (AP) experience- Account reconciliation experience- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds- Proficient with spreadsheets and databasesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
