Job Description

Randstad Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist/Business Analyst to join a fast-growing family-fun organization in the North-West of Winnipeg.
The successful candidate will directly report to the General Manager and assists with financial analysis, statement preparation, reconciliation, and special project work.

Do you have previous Accounting or Financial/Business Analysis experience ideally withing a Real Estate Industry? Are you organized, able to multi-task, and work well independently? Do you have an analytical mindset and enjoy helping the business make smart investment decisions? Do you thrive in a smaller family-like work environment and are outgoing? Are you a problem-solver, and do you take matters into your own hands? Are you a great communicator, friendly, open, and a good negotiator?

Responsibilities
- Review and analyze financial data
- Reconciliations
- Investigate variances
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Assist with real estate portfolio planning
- Help in maintaining strong internal controls
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred
- CPA designation is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles with 6+ years in a similar role
- Able to problem solve and work well independently under minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, GL functions, and creation of financial statements needed
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
