Junior AccountantLocation: Downtown Vancouver (Hybrid)Hays Recruitment has partnered up with a state-of-the-art Real Estate developer based in Vancouver (the role is flexible and hybrid). This client develops residential andmercial properties throughout British Columbia. The role has many employee-based perks, flexibility, CPA support (education fees coverage and extended health benefits, beautiful office based Downtown Vancouver, 3 weeks vacation,petitive salary+bonus and more.Salary Range: 50-60KCPA Fees support and mentorshipYour new role:Assist with preparing and maintaining financial statementsFull-cycle accountingMonthly bank, GL, subledger reconciliations and other working papersAssist with and learn month-end close procedures and other financial reporting deliverables including balance sheet reconciliations and analysisPerform ad-hoc tasks and assist with projects to support the project accountant team, finance team, including financial analysis and key performance indicator monitoring, and full cycle project accounting supportAccount Payable and invoicing tasksReconciling vendor accountsConducting ad hoc based projects and analysis as neededWork along the senior accounting team and the controller to achievepany wide goalsWhat you will need to succeed:1-2 years of full-cycle accounting experience or AP background with a keen attitude to learnCPA candidates are preferred but not a must pany provide support on CPA fees, mentorship andpetencies)Excellentmunication and organizational skillsExperience in Real Estate Development, Architecture, or Construction preferred but not a must#LI-DNI #1112552 - Haidar Waled
