We were also recognized with the 2019 Comparably Award for Best Leadership Team.The OpportunityYou will:Record and review financial transactions, post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately and appropriatelyCoordinate month end activities and full-year accounting processes to ensure timely reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basisComplete and review monthly schedules for fixed assets, prepaids, and accrualsPrepare schedules and balance sheet reconciliations in support of the monthly financial statements, including intercompany accountsPerform variance analysis on actuals versus budget, prior month, and year to datePerform payroll functions by calculating vacation, bonus, commissions, benefits, and other processes as neededPerform cash forecast on a weekly basisPerform and review bank, credit card, and account reconciliationsReview and understand the Companys revenue process and contractual obligationsPrepare and review financial analysis and reporting functions, including but not limited to KPIs development, SaaS metrics, variance and trend analysis and other measures for strategic and reporting purposesPrepare working papers for annual auditSupport budgeting and forecasting efforts for internal departments, overall financial statements, and cash requirementsCalculate and prepare equity entries, maintenance of internal cap tables, options, and warrantsAd-hoc tasks as requiredWho You Are:Preferred Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of full-cycle accounting experienceMinimum Bachelors degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting or equivalentCPA or CPA in progress is an asset but not requiredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (Data analysis and Power BI experience is an asset)Knowledge of IFRS reporting and requirementsExperience with Quickbooks Online or equivalent is an assetExcellent oral and written interpersonal and communication skills in EnglishHighly motivated, detail-oriented team player who works well to meet deadlines on time with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with limited supervision or within a team environmentEnthusiastic, positive attitude and open to learning and collaborating with colleagues to reach work-related goals and objectivesOur Perks and Benefits:Competitive salary, bonus and options packageExcellent benefits (health, dental and vision)4 weeks vacations100% remoteLifestyle Savings AccountFree Mojio for your carPhone bill reimbursement and many more!Who We AreMojio: Connected Mobility PlatformAt Mojio, our people design, develop and deliver connected mobility solutions that transform a complex array of automotive data into actionable insights, seamless user experiences and valuable services.Were backed by leading strategic and financial investors, including Amazon, Bosch, Deutsche Telekom, Kensington Capital, Relay Ventures and T-Mobile US.
