Here's how an Accountant for our Montreal office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Support the accounting team by collecting, reconciling, and processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner to meet payment terms.
- Prepares bank deposits and journal entries.
- Reconciles bank accounts, taxes, accounts receivable/payable and trial balance monthly.
- Responsible for office accounting, taking part in month-ends, financial year-ends, and audits.
- Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Accounting experience required.
- Post-secondary degree in a related discipline an asset.
- Pursuing CPA designation an asset.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong organizational skills, rigor and attention to detail to maintain and submit all necessary documentation and meet deadlines and requirements.
