Job Description

SJR is currently seeking an Account Manager to be part of the Client Services team delivering an exceptional quality client experience. The right candidate will have proven experience in the delivery of content programs that address our clients’ business challenges through strategic thinking and creative excellence. They are executional strategists, equal parts client counselor, content manager, problem-solver and operations manager. They are willing to go above and beyond to deliver smart solution that exceed our clients’ expectations.

What You’ll Do

  • Own day-to-day client communication, from taking the brief though to final sign-off.
  • Run day-to-day account administration, coordinating budgets, timings, and deliverables to keep projects on track.
  • Develop confident knowledge of client sectors, voice, and tone, staying abreast of industry news, competitors, and marketplace conditions.
  • Execute and/or work collaboratively with editorial, design, and technology colleagues to deliver content, conduct research, analysis, creative concepting, and production.
  • Drive the success of your accounts with clear objectives, goals, and measurement plans
  • Play an active role in the business development function; identify and maximize opportunities for organic growth within existing clients.


What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years account management experience; agency setting preferred
  • A thorough understanding of traditional public relations, content marketing strategy and implementation across a variety of platforms and channels
  • A passion for detail, with strong time management and project coordination skills
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers
  • Flexibility and a willingness to react quickly and proactively to meet internal and external needs.
  • Relentless curiosity, initiative, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • An exceptionally-positive attitude and an ease of working with a variety of people across the business.
