Job Description

  • Preferred location in the Maritimes ( New Brunswick or Nova Scotia)
  • Responsible for managing sales of Dodge/RBC mechanical products through our OEM & distribution channels. Market Covered are the Atlantique Provinces)
  • Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
  • Defining sales targets for the accounts, and ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow-up.
  • Providing solutions for their businesses that are in line with volume, mix, and profitability targets.
  • Driving specifications of Dodge/RBC products at the major end users in specific industries.
  • Structured updating of the CRM platform to support growth initiatives.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
    • 5 years of experience in sales, working within the industrial market preferred.
    • Good knowledge and experience with mechanical products.
    • Professionalism, well organized and demonstrated experience in the management of customer accounts and sales strategy.
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills.
    • Strong decision-making ability while negotiating commercial and technical items with customers and colleagues, both to win new work and to resolve disagreements.
    • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution, preference towards Mechanical Engineering or relevant industry experience.
    • Fluency in English & French is a plus (written and spoken)
    • Ability to travel 50% of the time within the region.
