Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.Profile: Our client is a Commercial & Industrial Equipment Supplier and proud Canadian owned corporation representing products related to steam optimization, ventilation, and critical airflow applications. They are looking for an Account Manager to take care of their existing customers but also to make customers they do not currently work with want to partner with them. You enjoy a fast-paced low-pressure sales role, you have a technical background or education, you are a strong relationship builder, love a challenge and the opportunity to learn new things, this might be the job for you!Territory: Province of QuebecWork Place: Montreal (A mix between, Office, home office and road)Products/Services: HVACSalary: 60,000$ - 70,000$ annuallyCommissions/Bonus: 10,000$ - 30,000$ in the first year (uncapped commissions) Second year the potential is higher.Car allowance: 550$ monthly + KMExpenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses are reimbursed.Other Benefits:Complete benefits packageLaptop and cell phone providedFunctions:Identify business opportunities and proactively approach clients to inform and educate them on the company’s products and servicesDevelop annual sales forecasts and plans to achieve growth targetsDetermine customer’s needs by demonstrating deep knowledge of the customer’s applications and processes.Develop relationships with prospects and existing clients.Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.Remain current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks etc.Create proposals and quotes where requiredFrequent travel to conduct meetings with clients and prospective clients.Attend tradeshows and conferencesClient visitsPresentationsRequirements:Development vs Maintenance: 25% vs 75%Road vs Office:60% vs 40%Languages: Bilingual (French and English)Education: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering is preferredTraining: Onsite trainingOvernight Travel: No overnight travel for the first year (some training in the US might be required)Years’ of experience:1-2 years in a technical sales roleOther requirements:Meet and exceed booking targets, pipeline management and key account management goals.Experience in industrial sales is preferred.Experience in external sales of technical or industrial productsExcellent relationship building skillsTransferable contacts: NATransferable Knowledge:Experience working with engineering firms, contractors and end users
