We are looking for an Account Manager who enjoys a fast paced environment with a desire to improve themselves and advance within the company. TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES: Contacts current and prospective clients to identify their need for existing and/or new productsResponds to and processes incoming calls and ordersOpens new accounts and maintains existing customer baseMakes proactive outbound calls.Maintains knowledge base on current products and learns about new productsProvides pricing quotations and follows-up on quotesProvides basic technical support on productsBuilds strong relationships for repeat opportunitiesAbility to liaise with suppliers on project and non-stocking product opportunities REQUIREMENTS: Post-Secondary educationProficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelPrevious Sales/Inside Sales experience in the Canadian Electrical Industry is requiredSuperior interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to develop long-term client relationshipA highly professional approach to businessExceptional organization skills, ability to multitask and a keen eye for detailTechnically proficient to quickly learn and understand productsAbility to develop quotations & project bid packaging / pricing / presentationsKnowledge of electrical industry would be an assetWillingness to work overtime as needed and a sense of team spiritWhat’s in it for you We are a major player, involved in the energy transformation in Canada.
