The Account Manager will represent our comprehensive product offering to the garage door hardware industry in North America. This role will work closely with our clients and internal resources to ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Being a brand ambassador for FlexiForce who demonstrates our core values.Account Managers are responsible for prospecting, estimating, providing quotations, relationship selling and the development of a geographic sales area.This position will also be responsible for pricing and creating quotationsMaintaining direct (in-person) and indirect (virtual) relationships with existing customers and visiting potential customers to demonstrate products and grow market share.Supporting and growing important key-accountsNegotiating variations in price, delivery, and specificationsTrain and provide technical support on FlexiForce factory products, prospecting and to have an understanding of garage door hardwareCommunicating new product requests to various supporting departmentsEstablish relationships by attending industry trade shows and joining relevant industry organizationsBeing able to help with entering customer orders.Working with the production control group to expedite order production.Working with customers to streamline ordering methods.Product configuration for custom / special applicationsWork with support departments to meet or exceed 98% on-time delivery. Qualifications Preferably 3-5 years’ experience in a B2B sales, garage door and window industry experience is an asset. Building Materials and Construction is also an asset.Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience coupled with formal sales process training.Effective computer skills including familiarity with ERP and CRM software as well as MS Office programs.Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.Ability to negotiate variations in pricing, delivery and specifications.Analytical and detail oriented with an ability to understand manufacturing costs. Role Requirements Location: Abbotsford, BC Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Working conditions: On Site (Hybrid) Travel Routine travel, typically 25% of time, will be required for this role. A valid passport is necessary along with freedom to travel to international destinations in North America and European locations as necessary.
