Altis Recruitment & Technology is currently looking for strategic and results-focused Account Manager based in Kelowna or Vancouver, to play a key role in growing our Broader Public Sector & Government Services staffing division. It will call on your superb customer service skills to bring all parties together and to treat others with respect and care. This position requires business development skills on the phone, in person, and in written presentation.Responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:Actively engaging with clients and responsible for expanding our presence within the broader public sector and government services marketplace across Western CanadaIdentifying new markets and business opportunities to pursueRetaining clients by providing superior customer service and staffing supportEnsuring we don’t miss opportunities for new business with existing accountsListening and drawing out the concerns and problems of clients to identify staffing solutionsMushrooming existing users to generate new business and grow salesCross selling to identify opportunities for other divisionsMarketing candidate resources based on client needsResolving any issues that come up throughout the placement processNegotiating and closing deals; handling complaints or objectionsConducting after placement service calls with both candidates and clientsAttending in-person and virtual meetings with top users and prospectsParticipating in networking events and conferences on behalf of the companyPreparing and reporting on goals, sales, and prospectsAdhering to our high level of service standards and deliveryQualifications & ExperienceMust have:2+ years of direct experience within either staffing or sales, business development and/or account managementPrior experience working within an outreach driven seat and comfortable with cold outreachPassion for creating and fostering new relationshipsYou are a driven professional who is self-motivated for achieving and exceeding individual and team goalsFocused on driving client/candidate success and delivering the ultimate client/candidate experienceExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlinesNatural curiosity about people, their backgrounds and experienceExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentTechnical aptitude in the use of business softwareNice to have:Previous staffing industry/public sector staffing experience considered a strong assetEducation and CertificationsMinimum education required: University Degree or College DiplomaAt Altis, all-inclusive diversity is our strength.
