We are seeking an Account Manager to temporarily join our sales team to position Thomson Reuters as the supplier of choice for online products to customers across Canada. This individual will protect revenue streams of existing accounts and will continue to grow overall Segment revenue. This role will require ongoing collaboration with the sales teams to best determine how to achieve the overall goals of the teams.

The Account Manager will work closely with the Sales, TR Operations, and Customer Support teams to create a strategic plan to improve customer satisfaction, reduce complexity, increase revenue and decrease customer attrition.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage Account Relationships:includes working with sales teams to address customer invoicing and contract issues, user entitlements and changes, process renewal orders, monitoring product utilization and recommending actions to address including training and general inquiries;

  • Growing revenue and protecting existing revenue streams: through strong account management skills matched with product knowledge, uncovering new revenue opportunities. Owning and collaborating with sales team to manage upcoming online renewals.

  • A university degree or college diploma in business or related area

  • Being a strong team player

  • A growth mindset

  • Sales, customer insights or customer service experience in a B2B environment

  • The ability to multi-task and work efficiently

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong PC skills and proficiency with MS Office

  • Salesforce.com & SAP experience

  • Legal industry knowledge/experience would be considered a strong asset
