Motion is hiring a motivated Account Executive to Drive Sales & Help Scale our Fast-Growing Ecommerce Analytics Platform As an Account Executive, you will work closely with our Head of Business Development to grow our sales development process and drive net new & expansion revenue across our customers accounts. At Motion, our clients hire us as their creative analytics platform and help them influence billions in paid media spend. As an account executive you will be on the ground floor of our growing sales organization to close business & find new potential customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the performance marketing space, be experienced in closing business with a B2B sales process, and have excellent communication skills. Motion is a fast growing B2B Software company experiencing 300% growth year over year. Having recently secured $12M in funding, we are developing a new software category that bridges the gap between performance marketers and creative teams, offering fast, visual reporting for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube ads. Our product helps marketers understand which ads are working and how to make them even better. Today, over $5B in media spend relies on Motion’s product to help influence their ad buying decisions, and are trusted by thousands of customers like Vuori, True Classic, The Farmer’s Dog, and HexClad. As an Account Executive, you will spearhead converting prospects into paying clients along with assisting in expansion revenue across different accounts. Using a consultative selling approach, you will help teams see how the Motion platform is the answer to the workflow challenges they are experiencing. In this role you will work closely with the BDR & Marketing teams to sell and convert inbound leads. You will be responsible for 8-12 demo’s per day and are expected to drive both net new & expansion revenue amongst accounts even beyond the closing. Our philosophy is that top sales reps can be successful in any organization. You can tell a story – You understand how to capture a prospective client’s paint points and can craft a story on how Motion can help that goes beyond just showing the product's features. You know how to build a pipeline – You’re comfortable building a pipeline where the average sales cycle is 30 days and have experience using CRM & Sales tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Nav, & Apollo. You understand the performance marketing world – Selling to marketers means speaking their language. Having an understanding on how e-commerce companies develop new creative, what channels they spend on, and speaking in terms like CaC, AOV, LTV are important metrics to show you’re listening and can be a guide. Remote work environment ~75k base, OTE 150k (CAD) ~ Ability to drive net new and expansion revenue Develop and have ownership over your entire pipeline Be comfortable developing sales decks and crafting a story that addresses a prospects pain points Manage an entire sales cycle, from initial contact through successful close Advise prospects on how to implement an effective Performance Creative process using Motion
