You will be working with Account Executives, Insurance Underwriters and Masters' clients servicing and marketing existing and new business accounts. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, remain flexible to changing job priorities, and strive to create exceptional customer service experiences for our clients.BenefitsCompetitive compensation packageGenerous health and dental benefits program, including Healthcare Spending AccountRobust Group Retirement Savings program with company matchingReimbursements of license fees and professional membership duesFull support of continuing education and growth opportunities, including career mentorship with senior managementHybrid work schedule that supports work-life balanceEpic year-round employee events!Wellness programs, including a special initiative for new momsOpportunities to give back to our communities through philanthropic programsMembership to an exclusive employee discount programDiscounts to gym membership and select local retailersMasters assist employees by paying for work related courses, as well as annual licensing and designation fees, including RIBO, CAIB, CRM and CIP designations!Key AccountabilitiesBusiness Development and RemarketingSolicit new business sales via inbound and outbound calls, leads provided Prepare and complete applications, endorsements, binders and invoicing using TAM and carrier portalsGather underwriting information, such as ordering MVR’s, Autoplus, Hits and EzitvPerform quotation transactions (Compu-Quote)Recommend additional coverages and pursue cross selling / up selling opportunitiesMeet with clients offsite to deliver and review insurance policies (minimal travelling required)Analyze and review premium comparison reports with clientsRenewalsPerform annual renewal reviews and risk exposure analysis of policies Provide competitive quotes to clients Process insurance policy changes, renewals and cancellations Communicate and confirm coverages to clients Maintain control of renewal expiration lists, binders, audits, and aged receivablesCustomer ServiceFormulate and foster strong working relationships with the client and insurance company underwritersRespond to client inquiries, company requests and insurance company representatives Provide customers detailed explanations on Masters products and servicesAdvise clients regarding insurance coverage(s) and risk management issuesPrepare proof of insurance (binders and endorsements) for financing and lease companiesProcess insurance policy changes and cancellationsAgency Management / File SystemUpdate and maintain electronic client files and ensure all required documentation and activities are recordedPerform other related duties and special projects, as requiredCandidate QualificationsRequired:RIBO License Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a personal lines department at an Insurance Brokerage in a similar role with similar duties and responsibilities Understanding of personal lines underwriting and coverages Knowledge of uploading and processing new business and policy changes to company portals Aviva, Intact, Northbridge, Economical / Definity and Travelers is preferred In the process of completing CAIB, CIP and/or CRM designations Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Programs, including Outlook, Word and Excel An Asset: Completed CAIB, CIP and/or CRM designations Familiarity with The Agency Manager (TAM)Skill Sets RequiredEffective verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Self-motivation with ability to problem-solve with limited supervision Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities Ability to work independently and as a team member Willingness to mentor and train colleagues when required Accurate data entry skills with extra attention to detail and overall accuracyMasters Insurance Limited is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive workplace.
