About the Job

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our Toronto office. This role is critical in driving the growth of our business by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing deals.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, goal-oriented, and able to overcome obstacles with ease. They should have a strong background in tech sales, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 

As an Account Executive, you will work closely with the founding team members and be a key part of a small but dynamic sales and marketing team. You will be given real responsibilities to help achieve the company's goals. About the Role

The Account Executive will be in charge of leading this sales channel, owning the whole sales-cycle from lead gen to close.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Generation: Create and manage lead generation funnels.
  • Client Idntification: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels including cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Relationship Building & Management: Strategically nurture and close leads provided to you through our inbound channels.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions.
  • Product Demonstrations: Present and demonstrate our products to potential clients, showcasing the benefits and value propositions.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the company’s CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals and customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the tech vertical, with a record of top performance. 
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas. 
  • Experience crafting and executing sales plans. 
  • Ability to thrive in constantly changing, fast-paced, high-growth environments. 
  • Strong understanding of technology products and solutions. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically. 
  • Valid Canadian work authorization.

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary plus commission. On target earnings of $115,000 CAD.
