About the role

We are looking for a few quick-thinking, vibrant, and creative individuals to join our Sales Team as an Account Executive in Ontario, Canada. In this role, you will nurture sales leads and close new customers to support growing Forward Education. 


As an AE you are responsible for nurturing school district level leads and converting them into new customers through consultative and persuasive conversations, meetings, and demos, engaging and winning over decision making influencers, hosting webinars, and the application of other nurturing and conversion tactics. 

We’re searching for candidates that are eager to quickly learn the industry and market to grow a territory from scratch so that we can continue to scale the business across the United States and beyond. 


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales strategies to close new business to achieve quarterly targets
  • Grow market share within your assigned territory
  • Actively source and manage sales pipelines
  • Engage prospects in creative and meaningful ways 
  • Accurately forecast and report on sales opportunities 
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally
  • Become a STEM learning solutions expert and showcase your knowledge


Your Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience working with district level customers in the K-12 education sector.
  • 3+ years of experience in closing B2B customer accounts
  • Experience using HubSpot or another CRM
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proven success in effective account planning to consistently exceed quota 
  • Ability to persuade through a consultative and solutions-oriented mindset, tactfully handling objections
  • Relationship-building and collaboration skills for working with Forward EDU team members and customer networks
  • Exceptional multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities
  • High professionalism and self-motivation
