Job Opening in Abbotsford, BC - Certified 4th Class Power Engineer
We have a great career opportunity in Abbotsford, BC for a Certified 4th Class Power Engineer! We are looking to add a new member to our growing team. If you have a background in welding, understand the differences between centrifugal and axial pumps, and can handle a physically demanding role, we want to hear from you.
You would be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment based on work order requests, equipment stoppages, or breakdowns. We require at least 3 years of experience in Maintenance work and the ability to work flexible shift schedules. Immediate start available!
Job Details
- Location: Abbotsford, BC
- Shift: 24/7 facility 4x10s
- Wage: $38 to start to $39 after probation + Shift Premium + Dual ticketed: $0.97 additional/hour

Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment and systems
- Perform daily pre-operational inspections and repairs
- Responsible for operation of high-pressure boilers
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and HACCP regulations
- Perform welding and other tasks as needed

Qualifications
- Mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems knowledge
- Experience with power and manual tools
- Flexible shift availability
- 3-4 years of Maintenance experience
- Willingness to learn and work in demanding conditions
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
