Job Description:Job Description We are seeking a qualified and experienced Truck and Coach Technician with a 310T certification for our client in Sudbury, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and coaches to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities:Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and coaches according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and determine the most effective repair solutions.Replace or repair faulty components and systems, ensuring proper installation and functionality.Test repaired vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing repairs and maintenance tasks.Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion of work orders.Keep abreast of industry trends, developments, and advancements in truck and coach technology. Qualifications:310T certification as a Truck and Coach Technician.High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is an asset.Proven experience as a truck and coach technician or similar role.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Familiarity with heavy-duty truck and coach systems and components.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Ability to commute/relocate:Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (mandatory) Experience:Heavy Duty Mechanic: 2 years (mandatory) Licence/Certification:310T (mandatory) Work Location: In person
